Caution: Work in Progress

A work in progress and a sketch I'm working in for my brother.

I am playing around with inks again.  I have always had this crazy fixation with dip pens and line drawings.  Unfortunately they are not as equally impressed with me.  Tony DiTerlizzi's second installment in his "Wondla" series is coming out tomorrow (or is it today?) and the anticipation has rekindled my obsession with his dual toned illustrations.  So naturally I have been experimenting.

The top three are process stages over 3 or 4 hours.  The last is a sketch I put together in about 2-ish (I think, I was interrupted several times and I didn't time myself).

Also, I did these instead of doing my laundry.  Which I need to do, really badly.

I am also on a comic kick, if you couldn't tell.  I'm working on my own right now and it kinda bleeds over into everything else.

I love doing illustration as it really increases my creativity. I am very impressed by the way you have illustrated both the above images. Really you are doing fabulous job. Nice artwork I must say.
